During Carers Week (6th- 12th June 2016) we have been meeting groups of carers, as we do throughout the year.
Speaking during Carers Week, Maeve Hully, Chief Executive said
“The impact of caring on carers and other family members is huge. Some carers have to give up work because they are unable to juggle their caring duties with employment.
Sorcha was delighted to meet up with Fermanagh Carers Walking Group during Carers Week.
"The emotional, physical and financial effects that caring can have should not be underestimated. Carers are often too busy caring for someone else to consider their own needs.”
The Patient and Client Council will continue to highlight carers’ priorities, and help them to have their voice heard by service providers.
