To our members and supporters of the Patient and Client Council,
I am sure you are more than aware of the evolving situation surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), with developments and updates everywhere around us at the moment. We at the Patient and Client Council fully appreciate that this is a very difficult situation and the worry this causes everyone. I want to reassure you that the Patient and Client Council remains committed and focussed on the requests for support and rights of the patient here in Northern Ireland.
Our duty is to support those of you, who have a healthcare or social care concern to understand and navigate your care should it be affected by the new pressures being faced by the Health Service as they work to manage the treatment and containment of COVID-19. In the meantime, we will continue to keep up to date with the current situation and will be following the latest advice from the Public Health Agency and the government.
